Securstore, the cloud backup and recovery specialists, today announced that the British Standards Institution (BSI) has awarded the company re-certification of the ISO/IEC 27001 global information security standard.

Assessed annually by the BSI, the ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard concerning information safety and management which identifies, manages and minimises the range of threats to which information is regularly subjected. The certification applies to all of SecurStore’s operations in the UK and Iceland and demands specific work procedures, active quality control, and strict network and information security.
